                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED AT 906, 908,
                   AND 910 TUNNEL BOULEVARD, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHEAST LINE OF TUNNEL BOULEVARD NORTHEAST
                   OF SHALLOWFORD ROAD FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE
                   TO C-5 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              Tracts of land located at 906, 908, and 910 Tunnel
              Boulevard, being on the southeast line of Tunnel
              Boulevard northeast of Shallowford Road.  Lot 13, and
              part of lot 14, block 8, Arcadia Land Company's
              Addition, as shown by plat of record in plat book 6,
              page 23, R.O.H.C., being the property described in deed
              book 3874, page 717, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 147G-C-23.
             
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-5 Neighborhood Commercial Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
